Good morning and welcome back to the ValorosoIT channel. If you like retrocomputers and vintage electronics, you're in the right place! So, if you haven't already done so, I invite you to subscribe to the YouTube channel and turn on the notification bell!

Recently, I moved some of my vintage computers, vintage computers from my collection, from boxes, shelves and furniture, onto these desks. I often walk in front of them and press the keys on these keyboards. Well, I have to tell you that the sounds of 80s keyboards are completely different! They have a completely different feel than modern keyboards! When I start writing a letter, for example, on a laptop today, the feeling isn't bad, but it has nothing to do with the feeling I get when I press the keys on these keyboards from 40 years ago. It's a completely different thing, both from a tactile point of view, but above all from a sound point of view. That's why I had an idea: record an ASMR video.

Do you know what ASMR videos are? These are those videos in which only the sound of some objects is recorded, rather than the sound of people eating, walking, in short... any recurring sound! Well, I'm not going to record myself eating. So don't worry, that's not the topic of this video! However, I want to record the sounds of all these keyboards, both IBM computers and some Commodore computers that I have here on the desk. There are also computers from other brands (Atari, Amstrad, Philips MSX, Olivetti) for which, then, I will write the model of the computer overlay, while I will remain silent and leave room only for the sound of the keyboards.

If you like the idea, let me know in the comments, because I also have other computers: I have Amigas and also Commodore PETs whose sound could be recorded. So, let me know if it's a video you're interested in seeing. Also, let me know which sounds of these keyboards you prefer, in the comments, so we can rank them and see which keyboard wins! So, let's leave room for the sound of these magnificent keyboards. I greet you now and wish you good listening!
