You know what ASMR videos are? They are those videos in which only the sound of some objects is recorded, rather than the sound of people eating... So here is an ASMR video on the sound of all the keyboards of the back computers on my desks!

Recently, I moved some of my vintage computers, vintage computers from my collection, from boxes, shelves and furniture, to these desks. I often walk in front of it and press the keys of these keyboards.
Here, I must admit that the sounds of 80s keyboards are completely different than modern keyboards! They give a completely different feeling.
When I start writing a letter, for example, on a laptop today, the feeling is not that it is bad, but it has nothing to do with the feeling I get when I press the keys of these keyboards 40 years ago.
It is different, both from a tactile point of view and from a sound point of view. That's why I came up with an idea: to record this ASMR video. It's a way to share with you the wonderful sound of vintage keyboards.
My favorite sound is that of IBM keyboards. Currently you can still buy keyboards with that sound: you can look for keyboards with switches Cherry Mx Blue. Or, alternatively, you can search for UniComp keyboards.
