It is considered the first laptop with color monitor of history, even if, with its 10 kg and having to feed through the electricity grid, some consider it a transportable and non -laptop computer.

To my personal opinion, it has a very pleasant line. Since I saw it, I immediately wanted to own one in the collection. I found this computer, without keyboard, at a good price. Unfortunately, at the purchase there was a big problem, which I showed in this article. Subsequently, I found an agreement with the seller and the computer is returned safe and sound.

Finally, I also bought the original keyboard and connection cable.

Emulation
It is possible to emulate the Commodore SX64 on a common Windows PC, through the VICE and the CCS64. In this way, it is possible to try to start programs and games, as well as program the back computer, in a simple and comfortable way ... without even having the commodore executive!
Commodore SX64 Power Supply
The power supply of the Commodore SX64 is internal, Switching, 80W. There is a male IEC connector, rear, for the power cord. There is also a power switch. My specimen feeds on 220vac 50Hz.
Commodore SX-64 boot screen
The vintage computer start screen is presented with a white background and blue frame. It is different from that of Commodore 64.
