Prima di rimuovere la lamiera di protezione, dobbiamo scollegare tutti i cavi. Ci sono cavi di tutti i tipi e su diversi lati della mainboard. Iniziamo a scollegare i cavi piatti più piccoli: è sufficiente tirarli, prendendoli dalla parte azzurra, in direzione opposta al connettore, verso l'esterno della scheda madre.

Il cavo più largo, quello con più poli proveniente dal lettore CD, DVD, Blue Ray, non va tirato subito. Dapprima bisogna aprire il connettore, sollevando la linguetta plastica scura. Successivamente, possiamo allontanare il cavo piatto, verso l'esterno della scheda madre.

Occupiamoci ora dei tre cavi coassiali con connettori U.FL. Li scolleghiamo dalla scheda WiFi e Bluetooth semplicemente tirando i connettori verso l'alto (verso il cielo, per intenderci!), senza piegarli.

Disassemble the bottom metal casing of the PS4 console

When the cables are all disconnected, move them away slightly so that they do not get in the way of the metal screen. We can unscrew all the screws of the shielding. There are two types: torx T9, steel-colored, and also cross-shaped, black. Let's start with the torx T9 screws.

We put the screws aside, so as to remind us that they are part of the metal shielding.

Now unscrew small black star screws. These too ... are several. Near each screw there is a small arrow, which will help us in reassembly.

Detach the thin coaxial cable from both the plastic chassis clips and the guides on the metal shield.

Paying attention not to tear any cable, without making force, we can move the metal sheet away from the motherboard. In the photo, we see the free shielding, front and back.

Unscrew the X clamp of the PS4 CPU

Ora, per rimuovere la scheda madre c'è una scuola di pensiero assolutamente scomoda. C'è chi la rimuove semplicemente sollevandola e scollegando il cavo che proviene dall'alimentatore. In realtà, il nostro obiettivo è quello di pulire la ventola e l'aletta di raffreddamento che si trovano dal lato opposto. Risulta pertanto più comodo smontare l'alimentatore, dall'altro lato della PS4, scollegando i connettori da quel lato. Evitate, quindi, di seguire l'immagine che segue e procedete oltre.

Remove the top panel of your Playstation 4 Pro

Girate la PS4 dall'altro lato e smontate il pannello plastico superiore. Si sgancia sollevandolo verso l'alto (verso il cielo!), con decisione, ma stando attenti a non spezzarlo. Si deve sollevare dal lato frontale, una parte alla volta, dove ci sono le scritte SONY e PS4.

L'interno della PS4 Pro, dal lato superiore, mostra l'alimentatore (PSU), coperto da uno schermo metallico, e la ventola di raffreddamento.

Proseguiamo oltre, vediamo come smontare la Sony Playstation 4 Pro. Come dicevo prima, per rimuovere agevolmente il circuito stampato, bisogna smontare l'alimentatore. Ci sono 5 viti torx T9 da svitare.

In particular, avoid woolen sweaters or fleece sweatshirts. Also, before touching electrical wiring or components, place your hand on a metal table leg, metal door, or other grounded object. E ora... potete notare anche quanta povere ci sia tra le lamelle dell'aletta di raffreddamento! Come può passare l'aria, con tutto questo sporco? E' normale che la CPU della PS4 si surriscaldi, con queste schifezze: l'aria della ventola non riesce a passare.

Dopo aver rimosso la lamiera con l'aletta di raffreddamento, non rimane molto da smontare sulla PS4... Vediamo solo il lettore CD, DVD, BD a sinistra e la ventola di raffreddamento a destra.

There are several Phillips screws to unscrew. Since they are of different shapes, you will have to remember the positions where they will be screwed back on.
